Senior activities in three ability levels — so nobody has to sit out
420 activities, each one written three times — for the able, the assisted and the accompanied — so one plan covers the whole room.
The Whole Room is a kit of 420 activities, each published in three ability levels — Able, Assisted and Accompanied — for 1,260 ready-to-run versions, plus 52 full session plans and a finder that pulls up the right one in two taps.
If you run activities for older adults, you know this feeling
What changes in your very first session
There’s nothing to build. It’s already sorted, illustrated, and ready to print.
Open it, pick one, run it
No setup, no learning curve. The toolkit is built to be used the same day it lands in your inbox.
Open the Finder
The whole kit and the Activity Finder arrive by email and open on your phone, tablet, or computer.
Find it in two taps
Pick one of the six categories, then tick the boxes: ability level, minutes, equipment, group or one-to-one.
Run it for everyone
Print the sheet or keep it on screen. The Able, Assisted and Accompanied versions are all on the same page.
Total prep time: under two minutes — and you never build a session from scratch again.
Six modules, 420 activities
Every one of them written three times — Able, Assisted, Accompanied.
Move & Balance 90 sheets
Joint mobility, seated and standing balance, gentle strength, gait, breathing.
Mind & Memory 80 sheets
Attention, language, everyday arithmetic, orientation, executive function.
Hands & Senses 70 sheets
Fine motor work, multisensory stimulation, textures, aromas, music.
Voice & Memories 60 sheets
Reminiscence, guided conversation, life history, songs they still know by heart.
Useful & Needed 50 sheets
Real tasks with real purpose — tending plants, folding, sorting, preparing something for someone else. Nobody else in this niche covers this.
Group & Calendar 70 sheets
Group dynamics and activities tied to the dates that matter through the year.
52 ready-made session plans
One complete session per week, already combined and timed. Print and run it.
The Activity Finder
Categories, filters, search, favourites and print — the file that finds the sheet for you.
Format: printable PDF (Letter & A4) plus the Activity Finder — a file that opens on phone, tablet or computer.
Able · Assisted · Accompanied
Every sheet is published in three versions of the same activity, so you never have to redesign anything when the group is uneven — which it always is.
Able
Moves well, follows the instruction and joins in alone. Full version, with a progression to raise the difficulty.
Assisted
Needs physical support or reminders. Same activity with fewer steps, more time, and the support point marked.
Accompanied
Wheelchair, advanced decline or low tolerance. Seated, sensory and short, with no performance expected.
Two taps to the right sheet
Start where you already know: the six categories
Search, filter, favourite and print. It also has its own “I have 10 minutes” button.

Everything you get
Six reasons professionals keep this toolkit open all year long.
Strength, balance, mobility, coordination, memory — you start with what the person needs, not with a list to sift through.
Print the day’s session and keep your hands free while you run it.
Every movement is illustrated, so explaining it takes seconds — even if you can’t demonstrate it yourself.
Three starting positions, so nobody has to sit out.
Sheets for individual work plus full group circuits with setup diagrams.
Phone, tablet, or computer — the toolkit follows you from one facility to the next.
One activity. Three levels. Nobody sits out.
Every group is uneven — that is the normal case, not the exception. So every sheet in the kit is published three times, one version per ability level, on the same page.
Able — runs it alone
Moves well, follows the instruction, joins in without help. Gets the full version, with a progression built in to raise the difficulty when it starts feeling easy.
Assisted — needs a hand
Needs physical support or reminders. Same activity, fewer steps, more time, and the point where you offer support is marked on the sheet.
Accompanied — joins from the chair
Wheelchair, advanced decline or low tolerance. A seated, sensory, shorter version with no performance expected — presence is the whole point.
Set the start
Sit tall, feet flat. Loop the band under both feet and extend the arms forward at chest height until it is taut.
Draw the elbows back
Pull the band toward the ribs, elbows close to the body. Squeeze the shoulder blades together and hold for one second.
Return slowly
Let the arms travel forward over three counts. The controlled return is where most of the benefit comes from.
One plan. The whole room.
“Every minute you spend hunting for an activity is a minute you’re not spending with the person in front of you.”

“The 10-Minute Rescue”
60 no-equipment express activities for when the session falls apart and you have ten minutes to fill. Sorted by what went wrong: people missing, time to spare, the group has gone flat, too much noise, the power cut out.
Format: 60 sheets + a laminated pocket card with the 20 you will use most
“Winning Over the Holdouts”
A participation protocol plus 40 magnet activities for the ones who say no, get bored, or never sign up. Five refusal profiles, what to say to invite without pushing, and what to do when the answer is still no.
Format: 5-profile guide + 40 sheets + an invitation script per profile
“A Full Year of Sessions”
96 themed activities spread across 12 months, tied to seasons and to the holidays that carry weight for this generation — plus a rotation rule so the same resident does not repeat inside 90 days.
Format: 96 seasonal and date-based sheets + 12 printable monthly planners
“The Activity Binder”
15 printable templates so you stop improvising the paperwork: session sheet, attendance log, resident profile and preferences, a short report for the family and for management, plus the notice poster and the monthly observation sheet.
Format: 15 printable templates, blank and with a filled example
“The Memory Deck”
50 cut-out cards that open a conversation with any older adult, even one with little recent memory. Remote-memory questions — first job, childhood kitchen, dances, trips, trades — with no right answers and no way to fail.
Format: 50 printable cut-out cards in large type, plus 10 blanks to write by hand
